Next Generation CFO Europe, which took place from 13th – 15th September at the Intercontinental La Torre Golf Resort Murcia, Spain, provided leading executives the framework to establish strong business relationships, which will see the start of many innovative and exciting new ventures.

The summit saw chief financial officers from companies across Europe meet to discuss objectives such as sustaining their businesses during economically turbulent times in a relaxed and vibrant environment. Speakers included leading industry professionals such as Martin Petry, Partner & Leader Global Finance Consulting, PwC; William White, Chairman, Economic Development & Review Committee, OECD; and Joe Pucciarelli, Program Director, IDC. Leading companies including OptumHealth, People Scout, and Maritz sponsored the event.

As well as comprehensive workshops, the summit involved panel discussions offering executives moderated, peer-led discussions on major industry issues. One-to-one meetings gave delegates the chance to meet with business analysts and analyst partners to changes in responsibility brought by the recent economic crisis, and to address urgent challenges.

A total of 13 workshops covered a range of exciting and pressing topics for the industry. Topics included business delivery models, national policies, reducing time-to-cash, talent management, risk management, mobility, and much more.
